The summer of 2016 is not a bad one for TV. With new seasons of our favourite shows premiering all summer, like Marco Polo, Mistresses, Mr. Robot and a new season of Bachelor in Paradise beginning in August, you can be sure that you're won't go totally stir-crazy on those relentless rainy days. So YAY for new TV, but boo to having to wait for it. If you're getting a little impatient waiting for Game of Thrones and The Bachelorette to come out every week, why not take a trip back to our absolute favourite time for nostalgia: the '90s and early '00s. Here are seven of our favourite '90s and '00s shows to marathon this summer.
Freaks and Geeks
With its cast, chock-full of riotous comedic geniuses, including James Franco, Jason Segel and Seth Rogan (not to mention the cameos! Baby Shia LaBeouf, anyone?) and Judd Apatow directing, it’s a wonder Freaks and Geeks only lasted a year. Perhaps the show’s humour was before it’s time; whatever the reason for its demise, this singular season is worth a watch for the outfits alone.
