WMCFW Nail Look of the Day: Rudsak

Plus, enter to win an essie prize pack!

This fall/winter collection marked the 20th anniversary of Rudsak. Their runway show was heavily influenced by rock n’ roll style, and we saw that reflected in the nail art!

Inspiration:  This show was a massive milestone and the essie team wanted a nail art look to reflect that.  Utilizing the "negative space" trend, they agreed on a look that would match the subtle hints of gold in the collection and also celebrate the success of two strong decades of luxe Canadian fashion.

Step 1: Apply a thin coat of Essie's "Ridge filling base coat"

Step 2: Take paper re-inforcement stickers and cut them in half.  Lay on half of each sticker on the cuticle of each nail, leaving a guide to polish a half moon.

Step 3: With Essie's "Good as Gold", polish in the small semi-circle in each moon, leaving the rest of the nail bare.  Once each nail is polished, remove the sticker to reveal your gold half moons.

Step 4:  With a striping brush dipped in "Good as Gold", polish the tip of each nail as you would a french manicure.

Step 5: Finish the look with a coat of "Good to Go" topcoat
