This is the cream that I can honestly say aligns with my current eye-care needs. It moisturizes my skin and minimizes my crow’s feet and the teeny tiny crepe-y lines that creep up beneath my eyes when my skin is too dry and I haven’t slept well. Lancôme calls it Rénergie Yeux Multi-Glow Eye Cream, but I refer to it as the confidence booster.
The cream’s linseed extract firms and pulls back up and into place the new and not welcome small wrinkle on the outer corner of my left eyelid. It also eliminates the dry crepiness I sometimes get beneath my eyes from swimming and staying up too late to complete my writing deadlines. It also makes my eyes look more open and alert and less squinty when I’m laughing, which is super appreciated. I haven’t had Botox yet, so this is definitely helping me look younger longer.
The addition of Schizandra red berry extract, which is rich in sugar and protides, works to even out the colour of my skin giving it a nice glow that sometimes lasts a couple of days. This is a nice bonus, especially if I’m going out for drinks with my squad or dinner with Mr. X, Y or Z (hey, it takes a lot of frogs). And every time I rub the lightly rose-scented cream over my eyelids and beneath my eyes, I feel grateful to the French and their obsession with aging gracefully.
