Another day, another party we weren’t invited to. But will that stop us from living vicariously through anybody who attended (and/or freaking out about what they wore)? Absolutely not. So please join me on this quest, where we sing the praises of anybody who looked beautiful and/or super-fly.

Beyonce: Sheer and in Givenchy, Beyonce somehow managed to epitomize everything she’s ever sang about, ever. What does that mean? I have no idea, I’m very distracted by trying to figure out and also purchase this dress.

Kim Kardashian: Sheer, beaded, and feathered, Kim K looked every part the woman who has single-handedly positioned herself as one of the most powerful women in pop culture. Even if her dress looked a little like Beyonce’s 2012 number.

Anne Hathaway: Golden in Ralph Lauren, everyone’s favourite Wrecking Ball lipsyncer channeled Obi-Wan and Obi . . . won? (Oh my God, I’m so sorry.)

Sarah Jessica Parker: Looking fierce and/or fiery in an H&M dress, SJP did a powerful service to District 12 last night.

Cara Delevingne: Pantsuit! A Stella McCartney pantsuit! And that’s really all I’m here to say.

Kendall Jenner: Channelling the later-half of the nineties in a turtle-necked, lace-up Calvin Klein dress, Jenner followed her sister’s lead by wearing what she wanted and celebrating the night’s alternate theme: slight exhibitionism. (You go, girl.)

Rihanna: Wearing yellow Guo Pei, why did anybody else even bother showing up? I mean, seriously.

FKA Twigs: Clad in Christopher Kane, FKA Twigs’ gown brought a bright pop of colour and a cartoon penis and for that we must all be grateful.

Solange: In Giles Deacon, Solange began morphing into a crystal, likely to become this world’s most precious gem.

Janelle Monae: Capes rule all. (This H&M one rules all and then some.)
