Once a year for 11 days, stars and celebrity hunters crowd the streets of Toronto during the dazzling Toronto International Film Festival. This year’s fest is no exception and will be full of Hollywood’s heavy hitters. But how can attendees look the part?
A little black dress, comfy heels and a purse big enough to hide a camera is a must. You never know when Ryan Gosling is around the corner! Beauty during TIFF needs to go from day to night in a flash. L’Oreal Paris‘ has launched a new collection Simply Chic that promises to give a simple and elegant TIFF look. Who knows if you’ll have a chance encounter with Mr. George Clooney?
The Simply Chic collection is part of L’Oreal Paris Canada’s TIFF 2012 cosmetics collection. A capsule collection of neutral and rosy shades compliment most women and are versatile for day or night. The colours in the Simply Chic collection were voted by L’Oreal’s Facebook community this past spring.
The Magic Smooth Souffle blush in Angelic is a soft pink that coordinates with the Colour Riche lipstick in Peach. For eyes, Colour Infallible eyeshadow in Pepsy Coral is a great base, but you can add some drama with the Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Black.
L’Oreal’s official makeup artist, Eddie Malter says, The L’Oreal Paris Simply Chic Cosmetics Collection is glamorous and modern without being overpowering. It’s so versatile women can wear it everywhere whether on the red carpet in Toronto or out for dinner with friends in Vancouver.
This limited edition collection is available from $10-$17 and will be sold in stores and onsite at the L’Oreal Partis Red Carpet Beauty Lounge during the film festival situated in David Pecaut Square, in front of Roy Thompson Hall downtown Toronto.
