Quebecois musician Lili-Ann De Francesco first broke out on the scene at 15 years old as a semi-finalist on the popular singing competition La Voix (Quebec’s version of The Voice). Since then, she has toured, acted in a film, released her first single, Aura, and now, the 19-year-old is recording her EP, which will be coming out this fall. The latest addition to her CV: brand ambassador for Nature’s Bounty’s Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies, a delicious strawberry-flavoured gummy filled with biotin and skin and hair nutrients that were made by women for women to help them bring out their natural beauty from within.

Congrats on your new single, “Aura”! What is this song about and what inspired it?
Thank you! For all of my songs, we are three that work on them: myself, John Nathaniel and Mariane Cossette-Bacon. So, the inspiration is easier! The funny part for AURA was that we had just three days to do it which made us nervous, but we knew what we wanted for that song – A little sexy vibe! The song is about a love story.
How would you describe your music style/genre?
My music has a pop/electro vibe.
What’s next for you?
At the moment I am working on my EP, which will be coming out this fall. I’m very excited. It’s the first time that I am releasing original material. I’m nervous for sure, but I can’t wait for people to listen to what I’ve been working on for the past year. I’ve also recently started working with Nature’s Bounty as one of their yearly ambassadors for their Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies, which came as an organic partnership, since I’ve been obsessed with taking their vitamins for so long now.
I love how natural and fresh your look is. How would you describe your personal style, in terms of hair and makeup?
Au naturel? To be honest, I barely wear makeup. I love rocking a natural look because that’s the real me. For my hair, when it’s a bad hair day, I just add a few extra curls.
Who do you look to for beauty inspiration? Do you have any favourite Instagram accounts to follow for beauty inspiration?
I don’t like to get influenced by other accounts. Especially ones that I don’t even know. I like to stay close to my beauty routine and do things by myself!
What does your beauty routine look like? Do you have any daily rituals?
I like to keep it pretty simple for my beauty routine. Typically, I get up, hop in the shower, brush my teeth, apply a light cleanser followed by a moisturizer, then I’ll have my breakfast and take my Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummy vitamins…and I’m ready to go about my day!
Can you walk us through your journey towards glowing skin, fuller hair, stronger nails, and overall well-being?
I am constantly on the go, especially as of late, since La Voix and working on my music plus doing shoots. So, focusing on over-all wellbeing is very important to me, which is a balance of a lot of things in life. When it comes to beauty, I love a natural look in my day-to-day and wanted to find a supplement that would help my hair, nails and skin feel strong and that’s just what these vitamin gummies have brought to my life.
When did you come to appreciate the importance of Vitamin E and Vitamin C, and how have they helped you maintain healthy hair, skin, and nails?
I started taking the vitamins just over a year ago. At the time, I didn’t realize how important vitamins were. I even saw a change in my mood and have had more energy (probably from the Vitamin C). I like to think it helps me overall, inside and outside!
What do you love about Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies? Why are they an essential part of your beauty routine?
What I love about Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies is that I literally feel better when I take them. My hair looks amazing, my skin has gotten so many compliments and my nails break less. Oh, and the strawberry flavouring makes them taste delicious, which is a great bonus.
What are your priorities in terms of beauty and health?
My first priority is to be healthy. It’s really important for me because eventually I want to have kids and I would love them to sing with me! External beauty is a bonus.
How do you prep for the stage/screen in terms of beauty/skincare?
Normally I’m not the one who’s doing my makeup and my hair because I would be terrible haha! I have a great team typically that helps me before going on stage.
What are your other must-have beauty products, and why?
A lipsil is an essential for me. I always at least have one on me. Then I always have a lash curler because I never put mascara on and it’s a life saver. My last one would be baby powder because it gives more volume to my hair.
What is one of your favourite beauty tips that you would like to pass onto our readers?
My only tip would be (in life overall): always be yourself! No matter what. Believe in you and believe in what you do. And when you do, you will be the happiest person in the world!
