Basecamp Rock Climbing

basecamp

This is a fairly new attraction to the Bloor and Christie area, and since its opening this year it has received a lot of positive feedback. Open early until late, Basecamp offers guests a rock climbing experience indoors that accommodates the beginner to experienced climber. The 7,000 square foot facility has over 100 routes and features wall climbs that are nearly 40 feet tall. Basecamp took over the old porn theatre and has completely revamped the space into a clean, open and inviting venue to have fun at. There’s also some light snacks and coffee available. If you’re not familiar with the concept (it came to fruition thanks to their Kickstarter campaign) check out this video. Basecamp is great way to challenge you and your partner and you can climb all day and night for only $23.
