If there was a magical pill or bean or penny or whatever that promised that all we had to do was swallow, eat or pocket it and we could have our fabulous, line-free, plump and radiant skin…we’d do it. No questions asked. Blind trust. Give us the face of our youth any time. And if you’re reading this and scoffing right now, well, we don’t believe you. We think you’d do it too and we’re pretty sure Clinique thinks so as well.
Their brand new Clarifying Do-Over Peel is as good as youthful-looking skin in a bottle gets. (Come on, the words: Do-Over are right there in the name!) And it’s got the ingredients to prove it.
For starters, the gentle but effective formula includes a micro-blend of seven (count ’em!) alpha, beta and poly hydroxy acids to gently exfoliate the build-up of dead skin cells we all have off our face. The inclusion of algae and yeast extracts help to rejuvenate our skin and boost its cell renewal. Witch hazel thoroughly cleanses our skin to eliminate excess oil and grime, while acetyl glucosamine and butylene glycol leave us looking and feeling smooth and well tended to.
With so much action packed inside, all we have to do apply a drop or two of the treatment onto a cotton pad and wipe it across our clean skin two or three time a week before following up with our favourite serum and moisturizer.
