Tip #5: If a bold lip (still) scares you, start off sheer

If it is your first time trying a pink or red lipstick, start off with something more sheer and build up to a bolder shade. A bold lip is like wearing high heel stilettos, a fashion accessory that instantly dresses up your look and can take you from day to night in an instant. However, some of us are more comfortable in six-inchers than others, in which case, something a bit subtler is just fine!
