Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are officially Mrs. & Mr. Just nine months after becoming engaged (and sparking a new found love for marquis-cut diamond engagement rings thanks to Gomez’s five-carat plus dazzler), the adorable couple married on Saturday September 27 in a dreamy California celebration.
The party was reportedly planned by luxury wedding planner to the stars Mindy Weiss who has also famously planned the dream days of Hailey Steinfeld and Josh Allen, and Ciara and Russell Wilson, to name just a few. Gomez and Blanco’s wedding was a weekend-long event kicking off with a rehearsal dinner which saw the couple welcome famous friends including the bride’s besties Taylor Swift, Steve Martin and Martin Short.
Gomez herself shared the news the couple were married via an Instagram carousel of wedding photos on the afternoon of her wedding day with the caption “ 9.27.25” Her new husband immediately commented on the post: “my wife in real life.” *The sweetest.*

Of course, we knew the wedding dress and the entire style mood would be impeccable. Gomez more than delivered putting herself firmly in the canon of iconic celebrity brides. She leaned heavily into an Old Hollywood, vintage aesthetic with her look. Her gown was a custom Ralph Lauren design (Blanco matched his bride also wearing Lauren), and the dress was perfectly on point with the American designer house’s timeless, romantic, luxury aesthetic.
Snaps of the dress reveal its halter neckline is detailed with delicate, hand-made floral details. It also featured a dramatic bare open back, draped bodice, and a sweeping A-line skirt and flowing train. As Ralph Lauren only produces bespoke wedding gowns, Gomez becomes one of only handful famous brides like Priyanka Chopra, Lily Collins, Naomi Biden, and Jennifer Lopez, to wear a wedding dress from the design house.

To compliment the dress, the Rare Beauty founder kept her accessories simple with sparkling fine jewels, a delicate lily of the valley bouquet, and a beauty look that was peak aura movie starlet. Her hair in particular was a whole mood, perfectly sculpted into a 1920’s-esque bob. According to People, the architect behind the look was her go-to celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora who used Joico haircare to create the look.
“In preparing Selena Gomez’s hair for a celebration of joy, unity, and love, every detail had to be perfect,” Campora shared. He created a Marcel wave pattern using a curling iron paying particular attention to the pieces framing the bride’s face. The look was an evolution of the glossy style Campora created for Gomez at this year’s Academy Awards back in March.
“The final result: a flawless, timeless, healthy-looking, Hollywood glamour Marcel wave bob for a day that celebrates love, beauty and perfection,” Campora says.
We’re staying tuned for more details of Gomez and Blanco’s day. One thing we do know: when it comes to wedding style trends for 2026 brides, sweet Selena will be at the top of almost every mood board. From the tiny glimpse we’ve had into the day, it was perfectly personal, tinged with nostalgic touches and oh-so-chic details.
