The Pacuare Protected Zone is one of the most safeguarded areas in Costa Rica, making it one of the most pristine jungles in Central America. Situated in a virtually untouched rainforest that covers 1.2 million acres of wilderness, no trees were cut down to build the Pacura Lodge. One of the coolest parts about the Pacurae Lodge is that you arrive and depart the lodge as part of a rafting tour on the Pacuare River, which is known as one of the most scenic rivers on Earth.
