But times are changing and finally our girl Canada is surpassing her rivals. To the south Donald Trump is going all sorts of crazy and to the east the Brits have left Europe and One Direction has disbanded. So look who's laughing now. Not only do we have a pretty sweet prime minister who can casually explain quantum computing and do yoga, but recently our fashion has been making its way into American markets too. Frank and Oak was founded in Montreal’s hip Mile End district by childhood friends Ethan Song and Hicham Ratnani. The brand that started nestled among hip cafes and art galleries on St. Viateur has grown across Canada and into the United States. Although they’re best known for their menswear line, in fall 2016 Frank and Oak will be launching women’s fashion (check it out here to stay up to date on the launch!)
