Mattel and Paramount have announced a collaboration in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the 1995 cult classic film Clueless! Cher Horowitz and Dionne Davenport — played by Alicia Silverstone and Stacey Dash in the movie — will be receiving their own Barbie dolls to mark the milestone.
“Are we totally buggin’ or is it already the 30th anniversary of Clueless?” Barbie wrote on its official Instagram on July 10. “Barbie celebrates three decades of Cher and Dionne, dressed preppy in plaid with a learner’s permit and cell phones in hand.”
Of course, both the Cher and Dionne dolls come dressed in their most recognizable outfits.
The Cher doll wears her yellow plaid coordinating outfit, which consists of a cropped blazer worn with a white crew neck T-shirt and fuzzy yellow sweater vest underneath, and a matching yellow plaid skirt. Her accessories include her preppy white knee-high socks and heels, furry white backpack and ’90s cellphone.
The Dionne doll wears her iconic black and white plaid outfit from the movie, which includes a black blazer with white plaid, a white crewneck, a fuzzy red sweater vest, and a black skirt. Her accessories include black knee-high socks and heels, her patent-leather “Dr. Seuss” hat, chunky gold earrings and nose ring.

Clueless, a loose adaptation of Jane Austen’s 1815 novel Emma, was written and directed by Amy Heckerling and hit theatres on July 19, 1995. The film grossed $88 million worldwide, and went on to find even more success in the home video market.
In addition to the Barbie dolls, the Clueless 30th anniversary collection will include Cher and Dionne American Girl doll outfits, a Clueless-themed pack of Uno cards, a Polly Pocket playset with scenes from Cher’s house featuring Tai Fraiser (played by the late Brittany Murphy) and a Little People collectibles set with all three of the characters.
The Clueless Barbie announcement comes just days after Mattel announced that they would be launching its first doll with Type 1 diabetes. That new doll will feature a continuous glucose monitor and insulin pump, two medical devices that people use, carry or wear when they have Type 1 diabetes, a chronic condition where the body doesn’t make any or enough of the insulin hormone.
The Cher and Dionne dolls, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the 1995 cult classic film Clueless, both retail for $60 USD, and are now available for preorder now. According to Mattel they will begin to ship on or before September 26, 2025.
