John David was a football player and is known for his roles in HBO’s Ballers and in the film Malcolm X (with his father). Malcolm is also an athlete, having played basketball at Penn State plus he worked as a PA on John Favreau’s film, Chef, and is continuing in his Oscar-winning dad’s film moves, except behind the camera as filmmaker.
