1. Metal Mania
Whether you try solid chrome hues, colour infused with metallic shimmer, or add crystal details on top (like those spotted at The Blonds), your nails are sure to pop if you add a bit shine.
2. Olé© Ombre
Ombre is more than a hair trend this fall. Whether it’s dark to light, light to dark, or surprising colour combinations, nails are getting the artistic treatment (like those sported by models at Christina Cota). Try doing a dark base that leads to a brighter, lighter coloured tip, or a glitter topper that fades out towards the end of the nail.
3. French Revolution
Say good-bye to your classic pink and white French manicure. Nails this season are tricked out in rainbow brights (Note: not all your tips have to match), metal finishes and even textures, like lace. Think outside the box and consider adding in a bold half-moon to upgrade this style.
4. Dark vs Light
Nail colours are going in one of two directions this autumn – sheer nudes and pinks or dark and moody earth tones. Look for matte, light shades to get a lady-like polish, or go for a vampy sexy style with deep wine or violet hues.
