We’re getting back to nature with nail colour. The ‘90s were of course famous for making brown-tinged tones a haute shade for tips, and today we’re seeing a resurge of chocolate shades ranging from creamy mocha to deep cacao.
In keeping with this return to rich, natural tones, there’s also a whole new palette of beautiful earthen hues for nails at play: Forest greens, clay reds and sandy nudes. Our favourite way to way these statement shades is with a classic, solid-colour manicure. If you do want to add a hit of colour play, consider adding one or two accent nails in a similarly toned polish to create a modern monochrome effect.
Here’s our picks of the eight best earth tone polish shades to wear now.
