When we finally stopped looking at the cat packaging and opened the palette, what struck us was how wearable the shades are. There are nine in total and each one is a neutral hue, ranging from light cream to deep black, in matte, satin and shimmer finishes—enough to go from a fresh everyday look to a richer, smoky evening vibe.
The lightest shade, “Affogato,” is a matte cream and a great base to use all over our lids or to highlight the brow bone. “Light & Sweet” is a satin champagne that lifts and brightens the inner corners of our eyes or lids without looking glittery. “Cappuccino” offers a matte tan that works beautifully as a transition shade in the crease. “Macchiato” is a satin medium brown for soft definition. “Frappe” is a shimmering golden peach perfect for a soft pop of glow on the lid and, quite frankly, our most frequent go-to. “Americano” is a matte sable brown, deeper and good for building crease depth or subtle smoky looks. “Double Shot” brings a shimmering rich brown for dimension, especially layered over matte shades or near the lash line. “Cold Brew” is a satin pewter, cooler and a bit more dramatic, perfect for contrast when paired with warmer lid shades. Finally, “Espresso” is a matte black with a hint of glitter, great for lining our eyes, evening out outer corners or building a smoky finish.
Each one is smooth and blendable too, whether we’re using our fingers or a brush. The mattes work well for everyday natural looks, while the shimmers and deep tones help when we want depth or a nighttime vibe. It’s super versatile so we’ve been crating it around everywhere and, of course, its covered in cats. So there’s that.
