Toronto and Vancouver’s luxury hair and makeup hotspot Fancy Face has our latest lippy crush times three. Their new Coquette Lipslicks in pale pink “Juliet,” tangy coral “Forbidden Fruit” and fresh fuchsia “Outspoken” give our lips such a pretty hit of sheer colour, we’re reaching for them even when we’re puling on a mask.
One part hydrating lip balm, each of the three Lipslicks contain an infusion of hyaluronic acid, castor oil, carnauba wax, fatty acids and vitamin E to keep our lips soft, healthy and smooth. They glide on easily, too and with high shine courtesy of the brand’s proprietary and specific blend of six moisturizing emollients. And then there’s the colour.
“Outspoken” is our go bold or go home shade, for when we’re feeling a little flirtatious and want the cute guy at the dog park to notice us. “Forbidden Fruit” makes us feel quote sophisticated and French; the coral shade somehow makes even our ponytail, white t-shirt and jeans ensemble look and feel more chic. As for our go-to “Juliet,” well, we can wear it’s flush of pink any time and anywhere and we do, sometimes over top of another lipstick to give its hue a boost.
