When nature comes back to life in the spring, it's also time to freshen up your beauty look. And you don't need to look any further than the spring 2017 runways to find your go-to look. Although there was still plenty of barely-there makeup and dewy skin, the runways provided more colour and drama than we're used to seeing in recent years. And while plenty of the trends had a bit of a don't-try-this-at-home vibe (hair sleeked back with what looks like lube isn't going to be my look of the season), there were plenty of totally wearable looks that we can't wait to experiment with. Here are a few of our favourites.
High hair
Hair reached new heights on the runways this spring. The best part of this trend is that it works with all hair textures and almost all lengths. Whether you opt for a super sleek high ponytail (as seen at Brandon Maxwell) or simply want to pile your mess of curls on the top of your head (as seen at Reem Acra, above) you really can’t mess up this look.
