Affordable Natural Skin Care Products

Organic foods may be taking over the grocery store one aisle at a time, but just as important as what we put in our body, is what we put on our bodies. This means your skincare line is made without parabens, polyethylene glycols, harsh preservatives, surfactants and fragrances. Affordable natural skin care products seem like a myth, but we’ve found a few that make the cut.

Burt’s Bees
Burt’s Bees is made with ingredients derived from plants, vitamins, minerals and beeswax, Burt’s Bees organic skincare products are a natural way to treat your face. With products ranging from $9.99 to $24.99 you can totally afford it.

Kiss My Face
KissMyFace has the Whole Foods hard-to-get stamp of approval. The affordable skin care line is 100 per cent organic and even the packaging is recycled, to make you feel better about your skin and the planet. It features ingredients like peppermint oil, Witch Hazel Leaf Extract and Aloe Leaf Extract. What you won’t find in Kiss My Face product? Things like phthalates, parabens and artificial fragrances. Their affordable line of organic skin care products starts at $12.75 for things like their deep pore cleaning mask, to $23.00 for a brightening day cream.

Natural Being

This brand starts at US$10.00 for a cleanser that will cleanse and tone your face over time, the natural way. Their most expensive organic skin care product is a US$16.00 night cream.

Thursday Plantation
Thursday Plantation is an Australian Brand that uses 100 per cent tea tree oil in their products like face wash and blemish sticks. Juice Beauty
The premise of this organic skin care line is it’s made with an organic juice base, made with 30 different juices. The line also uses aloe vera, honey, botanicals, plant oils and raw sugar cane. While it’s a bit pricier than Burt’s Bees, there is still something for every price range, like cleansers starting at $22.00, and moisturizers starting at $18.00.

Holistic Vanity
This Canadian line is made with the simplest ingredients, derived from botanicals, fruits and vegetables. This affordable skincare line even distills its ingrediants in copper pots rather than using chemicals. While the products retail from $26 to $58, you’re getting pure product, since the base of the cleasners, lotions and toners are made with vegetable oils or aloe vera juice instead of water.
