Tanner Richie and Fletcher Kasell are the creative minds behind the emerging genderless brand Tanner Fletcher beloved for its whimsical pieces that have playful and vintage vibe often trimmed in lace, ruffles, and bows. The label is an editorial favourite—Hudson Williams recently wore teeny Tanner Fletcher 1960s-vibes belted swim briefs for his now iconic Wonderland shoot—and is beloved by celebrities including stylist Law Roach, François Arnaud, Ariana Grande, and Bad Bunny who famously wore the Tanner Fletcher bow suit for a spread in TIME.

Of their design ethos, Riche and Kasell (who are a real-life couple currently planning their wedding) say their inspiration always comes from nostalgia and things of the past. “There are so many good things out their already, and we want to bring back techniques that used to be popular back in the day,” Richie recently shared with Them.
That viral Bad Bunny moment was the beginning of Tanner Fletcher’s foray into wedding style—the pair began hearing customers were buying that suit to wear to their own weddings and that was the inspiration for Tanner Fletcher’s wedding collections. Pieces include 1950’s inspired rosette layered ballgowns, lace pantsuits, and pussy bow blouses.
Tanner Fletcher have just added a new chapter to their wedding story with their latest drop which just debuted at New York Bridal Fashion Week. The show was a clever partnership with Etsy and featured some incredible handmade pieces which were co-designed with Etsy sellers.

The Tanner Fletcher X Etsy “Happily Ever After” collection is a brilliant pairing of the designers’ vision with the creativity and craftsmanship of Etsy sellers. The lineup features everything from bow-trimmed and hand embroidered veils, to lace and tassel adorned bowties and neckwear pieces, and heirloom vibes wedding invitations and every item is created in collaboration with three different, independent Etsy sellers: the veils are from Whichgoose, the invites are from UTWOSTUDIO and the ties fare from HandsomeandLace.

The part we love most about this collection: HandsomeandLace is based in Toronto, founded by Keira Morgan. Morgan’s specialty is neckwear designs that fuse masculine structure with feminine delicacy. All pieces are hand stitched and have a timelessness about them which makes them a meaningful accessory to treasure forever. We especially love the white linen Forget Me Not tie detailed with a cursive, handwritten message, and delicate floral embroidery.

Given fashion’s current obsession with neckties, this piece is an especially chic one for brides and grooms this wedding season. The “Happily Ever After” collection is extremely limited available to shop now exclusively on Etsy. Don’t sleep on it because pieces this unique will sell out faster than you can say ‘I do.’
