Summary:
With Savoir spiraling into chaos, Emily reaches out to a former colleague for help. But an attempted détente during a glitzy gala quickly goes south.
Recap:
The second episode of Emily in Paris Season 3 picks up where the first episode left off, with Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) in a love triangle with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount).
Emily is trying to keep her two relationships a secret, but it’s not easy. She’s constantly lying to both Alfie and Gabriel, and it’s starting to take a toll on her.
At work, Emily is also struggling. She’s still trying to impress her boss Madeline (Kate Walsh), but she’s not having much luck. Madeline is constantly criticizing Emily’s work, and it’s making Emily feel insecure.
One day, Emily runs into Alfie at Gabriel’s restaurant. Alfie is surprised to see Emily there, and he asks her what she’s doing. Emily lies and says that she’s there for a business meeting.
Later that night, Emily goes to Gabriel’s apartment to apologize for lying to him. She tells him that she loves him, and they kiss. However, Emily soon realizes that she can’t keep living a lie. She decides to break up with both Alfie and Gabriel.
Meanwhile, Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) is still struggling to get her new marketing agency off the ground. She’s finally landed a major client, but she needs to come up with a winning marketing campaign.
Sylvie is under a lot of pressure, and she’s starting to make mistakes. She makes a few bad decisions that could jeopardize the whole campaign.
The episode ends with Emily leaving Gabriel’s apartment. She’s finally done with the love triangle, but she’s still not sure what she wants to do with her life. She’s also not sure if she’ll be able to save her job at Savoir.
