The annual Boobyball event is just around the corner, and this year’s ball is all about the galaxy. Called Planet Booby, the 14th annual fundraiser for Rethink Breast Cancer will give party-goers an outer-worldy experience.
Galactical glamour will take over venues, with fun cocktails, futuristic foods and entertainers that are out of this world.
Over the past decade, Boobyball has raised over $3.4 million dollars for our work for young women with breast cancer. We couldn’t do what we do without the support of all the people who come out every year, says MJ DeCoteau, Executive Director, Rethink Breast Cancer. A lot of Boobyball’s success is due to the fun and creative themes that we come up with every year. Planet Booby will be no exception “ it will be out of this world!
Planet Booby is going to call for the most creative yet chic outfits that celebrate the galaxy and, well, boobies.
If you need a bit of help putting together an outfit for the upcoming event, check out the suggestions below!
Starry Night Dresses
Go for an all-over print or stick with something a bit more subtle. Either way, stars a great option to get you in the extraterrestrial spirit.
Star Print Shirt Dress from Torrid
Written in the Stars Dress from ModCloth
Galactic Accessories
If you choose to go with an outfit that is less space-age and more fashionista, you can use your accessories to get into the spirit of Planet Booby. Go with a necklace that shows off your favourite planet, or a pair of sun and moon earrings. Or, go with something a bit more bold that will really take your themed outfit to the next level.
Rhinestone Star Headband from Forever 21
Skinny Dip Planet Across Body Bag from Asos
Cosmic Cosmetics
Here’s where you can really have some fun! Sweep navy blue eyeshadow across your lid with white or silver in the crease all the way to the inner corner of your eye. This will look as though the milky way is flowing through your eyelids. Or, add a bit of metallic, glittery or iridescent eyeshadow atop a bold lipstick for a sparkly, gorgeous pout. Alternatively, go with one of the looks below for a much more cosmic look.
