The Newest CoverGirl is 69-Years-Old, & She’s Elon Musk’s Mom
CoverGirl is breaking all the rules; they announced their first-ever male ambassador last year and enlisted their first Muslim-American hijabi ambassador soon after that. Now they’re breaking barriers for older women with their newest face, 69-year-old Maye Musk, a model signed with IMG who has five decades of industry experience. You may recognize her from Beyoncé©’s Haunted music video or from a cover of New York magazine from a few years ago. She’s a grandmother with ten grandchildren and three children (including Elon Musk). Beauty truly is for all ages, she wrote in an Instagram post sharing the news with her 60k followers. [The Cut]
Kylie, Khloe & Kim K are All Reportedly Expecting Babies for Early 2018
Good things come in threes, and in this case it’s the next-gen of Kardashian-Jenner babies. Kylie Jenner pregnancy rumours have been making headlines for a few days, but now it’s time for big sister Koko aka Khloe Kardashian to take the limelight. Khloe is also reportedly having a baby with NBA beau Tristan Thompson, making Kylie, Khloe and Kim Kardashian (via surrogate) due within a few months of each other early next year. Kylie is reportedly five months pregnant with Travis Scott’s child, Khloe is three months along, and Kim’s baby is due in January. The sisters have not confirmed or denied any baby rumours, and momager Kris Jenner has been tight-lipped (but we’re holding out for a potential reveal on the season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians this Sunday. Because, ratings). When Ryan Seacrest texted Kris to ask about Kylie’s pregnancy rumours on live TV, she simply replied Kylie’s not confirming anything. Nice try Ryan. [Billboard]
Perez Hilton Told Kylie Jenner to Have an Abortion & People Were Not Happy
When men tell women what to do with their bodies, the Internet more often than not claps back. So when Perez Hilton uploaded a YouTube video on why Kylie Jenner should have an abortion, people took to Twitter to shut him down. In the video, Perez claims Kylie won’t be a good mom, that her and Travis Scott’s relationship is great for business and says, If I were Kris Jenner, I would tell that girl to get an abortion! Many on Twitter pointed out that it’s Kylie’s body and therefore her choice whether or not to keep the baby, while others straight up told Perez to apologize to the 20-year-old mom-to-be. This isn’t the first time Perez has been under fire for offensive comments. Instead of apologizing he tweeted, I’m not sorry, though. [Teen Vogue]
