Wicked: For Good, the dramatic finale to the two-part movie adaption of the beloved Broadway musical, finally opens in theatres across North America on Friday November 21, 2025. In the weeks leading up to the film’s release, the stars have embarked on a massive press tour across the world, attending red carpet premieres in Sao Paulo, Paris, London, Singapore, and New York. The press tour was a massive spectacle, to say the least.

Based on Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, Wicked: Part One and Wicked: For Good tell the story of two witches, Glinda and Elphaba, before and after the events of the much-loved novel and film versions of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo have been paying homage to their roles as Glinda and Elphaba since they walked the red carpet together at the Oscars in March 2024 wearing pink and green looks inspired by their characters. The extravagant Giambattista Valli and Louis Vuitton looks on Oscar night set a high bar for the press tour for Wicked: Part One, which kicked off months later with the global premiere in November 2024. That press tour took the cast to premiere red carpet events in Australia, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and London and definitely didn’t disappoint fashion watchers.

But, now it’s time to celebrate all things Wicked: For Good.

Here, we’ve collected the coordinating looks that both Grande and Erivo have worn to the red carpet premieres for Wicked: For Good in Sao Paulo, Paris, London, Singapore, and New York. Grande was styled by famed image architect Law Roach throughout the press tour, while Erivo was styled by Jason Bolden.

Wicked: For Good began its global premiere tour at the Suhai Music Hall in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on November 4, 2025. However, the momentous opening happened without one of its stars. Ariana Grande missed the premiere due to flight delays, leaving Cynthia Erivo to walk the red carpet alone in style. Grande shared on Instagram that she boarded a plane with her team, but they were told to deplane for maintenance reasons with the crew citing safety concerns. This delayed the flight and left insufficient time to make it to the premiere.

“I am so heartbroken that i’m unable to be there with you all,” Grande said. “We sincerely tried everything we could and I apologize from the bottom of my heart. Please shower my incredible castmates with all of the love that I wish I could be showering you with and have the most beautiful celebration. And again, I am so, so very sorry.”

The premiere event did go on with a show-stopping appearance from Erivo, who wore a slate grey look from Jean Paul Gaultier. Stylist Jason Bolden enlisted the help of new Jean Paul Gaultier creative director Duran Lantink to reimagine as sculptural turtleneck from the spring 2026 runway and pair it with a never-before-seen drop-waist skirt.

The Paris premiere for Wicked: For Good was held at the Palais Garnier on November 7, 2025 and Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo both attended with dramatic looks.

Grande wore a vintage Givenchy look from the label’s spring 1998 haute couture “Japanese Garden” collection, which was designed by the late Alexander McQueen during his tenure at the house. The pleated grey-to-pink dégradé organza gown with pastel floral embroidery, was exquisite.

Erivo wore a stunning black silk cape and skirt combination from Dior’s spring 2026 collection. The oversized hat definitely brought the expected drama.

The European premiere for Wicked: For Good was held on November 10, 2025, at Cineworld Leicester Square in London and Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo made their grand joint arrival wearing glamorous dark looks, one circa 1952.

Grande wore a voluminous sequin dress, which featured an asymmetric neckline with one shoulder, a fitted bodice and a billowing tiered skirt. The 73-year-old ballgown was designed by famed costume designer Gilbert Adrian, who famously crafted hundreds of costumes for the iconic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.

Erivo wore a bold look from Prada, which featured fabric contrast (a soft, smooth satin-like material and a striking PVC-like material), a belted waist and off-the-shoulder sleeves.

The Asia-Pacific premiere of the much-anticipated Wicked sequel brought the cast to the Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore on November 13, 2025.

At the Singapore premiere, Ariana Grande sparkled in a soft blue off-the-shoulder Thom Browne dress, while Cynthia Erivo chose a black, strapless Vivienne Westwood grown with statement Tiffany earrings for the event.

Unfortunately the red carpet celebrations were cut early after a man jumped the barrier and rushed Grande while she was walking the red carpet. Erivo quickly intervened to protect Grande, who appeared shaken, but the incident led to the premature conclusion of the event. The man, identified as Australian social media personality Johnson Wen, was sentenced to nine days in jail.

The Wicked: For Good came to a close on November 18 in New York with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo walking the Wicked: For Good red carpet one last time in show-stopping numbers.

Grande channelled Glinda one last time wearing a gorgeous Schiaparelli haute couture creation that featured a jet-black bodice, a layered tulle skirt, and plenty of delicate lace accents.

Erivo wore her most dramatic look: a custom Balenciaga creation by Pierpaolo Piccioli, that was partially inspired by the label’s recent spring 2026 collection. The sculptural black gown featured spindly leather and feathered accents.

Both red carpet looks were the perfect close to a nearly two year long red carpet extravaganza.
