I lived in Toronto for an entire year without weather-appropriate footwear. And it sucked. So the following year I headed to Honest Eds (RIP) to pick up a pair of cheap and pretty ugly rain boots. They were in my budget and the did the job. But, with age (I am under 30) comes wisdom (I have trouble with long division) and I discovered pretty quickly that utilitarian gear that has you prepped for all sorts of weather can be stylish. In fact, it should be. So, for your shopping (and weather-prepped) pleasure, here are some of my favourite rainy day fashion finds of the season.

A classic rain boot is, of course, by Hunter ($170)”but we recommend getting a much more fun colour than basic black. Millennial pink anyone?
