Likely the most controversial of current tattoo trends, people are taking to trading app Bunz to find (essentially free) tattoos, with tattoo apprentices offering their services to willing participants. There are many talented tattoo artists willing to give you some ink for free (or for some other trade), but in you want to ensure a good experience — and a great tattoo — you may want to do some research ahead of time to make sure your artist is actually apprenticing at a reputable tattoo parlour.
