5 Celebrity Closets We’d Like to Raid

When I have a few hours to while away, I often grab a biiiiiig glass of red wine (I’m currently in love with juicy, full, luscious pours from Umbria, Tuscany’s lesser known neighbour) change my polish colour and give my cuticles a little love, and while hostage to wet nails, spend some dreamy, fashion-fiending time on my favourite fashion blogs.

While beauty posts like insider tips from Lana Del Ray’s makeup artist on “the best eyeliner, concealer as lipstick & skipping the Kardashian Kontour” keep things fresh, the posts that peek inside celebrity closets are what keep me scrolling for hours. Covering closets of the hottest models, makeup artists, stylists, desigenrs, CEOs and fashion elite, I’ve dreamed up the top five celebrity closets I’d love to raid, Bling Ring style (sans jail time, of course).

5. Victoria Beckham

Lovely and ladylike, Vicky B still maintains sex appeal and a slight edge. Thanks in part to her signature smudgy, bronzy makeup and body hugging silhouettes, the original posh Brit shows us being a Mom to four kids, running a fashion empire and supporting your husband’s athletic career is possible, and you can look damn good doing it.

4. Anna Dello Russo

Recently quoted saying, “I need at least $50,000 to get dressed everyday,” this couture queen can often be seen making many costume changes throughout the day during Fashion Week’s across the globe. The most-snapped editor of street style blogs and major glossies’ style pages alike, her slightly kooky and fearless fashion choices would make this closet a wonderland to raid.

3. Rihanna

Pop princess Rihanna’s sporty, borrowed-from-the-boys’ style is often juxtaposed with super sexy and girlie getups (ie: her MTV Movie Awards look consiting of a barely there blush-tone bodysuit and robe combo). Badass highhops, lots of leather and millions of snapbacks would be just as fun to play dress up in as sophisticated Manolo’s and floaty gowns. (Also, I love Balmain, and her BFF status with Oliver Rousteing would definitely mean tons of pieces to steal!)

2. The Olsen Twins

A standard pick for any top fashion girl list, the twins show us languid, layered, accessorized looks still rule it-girl style. Oversized designer bags and sunglasses just look so freaking chic with skinny jeans, rumpled hair, dark coloured pieces and a huge scarf. Their own designed, always in-demand Elizabeth and James collections is solid proof these girls got what we girls want.

1. Kate Moss

The legendary, the one, the only, Queen Kate. Turning 40 this year, Ms. Moss shows no sign of slowing down. A pro after 25 years in the industry, she is still one of the most in-demand and coasting alongside girls half her age. A style chameleon, she easily flits from boho-chic festival fashion it-girl to ultra-glam goddess to rock n’ roll badass grunge style, and pulls off each look as spectacularly cool as the next. All hail the queen of fashion, and the number one celeb closet to raid!
