When I moved from one country to another earlier this summer, my mother tried to sneak all seven box set DVDS of Gilmore Girls into my luggage. If that isn't proof that I was raised on this show, then I don't know what is. That being said, who Rory Gilmore ends up with in the Netï¬‚ix's Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life reboot is very, very important to me. I have a lot of feelings on this topic but have also done a lot of research. Therefore, here is both my conclusion and my reasoning for said conclusion, conducted through the process of elimination. Why she won’t end up with somebody new

Remember when Rory tried going on a date with her classmate Trevor, and they ended up on the same side of a booth at an Italian restaurant? That’s why. Rory hates casual dating. The series ended with Rory turning down an engagement so she could focus on her career. She’s not the type of person who will bother going on ï¬rst date after ï¬rst date until she meets the “right” guy, she’ll be spending any of her limited free time visiting Lorelai and loved ones. Plus fans would be absolutely devastated.
