If you're reading this, chances are good that you probably grew up in the '90s (or you were born in the '90s, a point of which we are going to choose to ignore because we are not old enough for that to be possible). And if you grew up in the '90s, you know that being sandwiched between the great music of the '80s and the great boy bands of the '00s, the '90s had to struggle to pull their weight in the entertainment industry. Thankfully for us ladies, they managed to do so by creating some of the absolutely best chick flicks that have ever graced our screens. Sleepless in Seattle (1993)
In a generation full of Tinder’ing and Bumble’ing, sometimes it’s nice to watch a movie that reminds us how non-trivial falling in love used to be. A lot has changed in the last 20 years but this classic Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan flick allows us to keep the faith that grand gestures of romance still exist in the world.
