Ever since Selena Gomez launched Rare Beauty and her liquid brushes went viral on TikTok, the brand has been getting a ton of attention on social media. Also worthy of a little attention… the actress and singer has been serving us some killer makeup looks. And much to our delight, she showed us how to replicate some of those looks with a series of makeup tutorials featuring some of her favourite products from her new brand.
To make things a little easier we tried a bunch of Selena’s go-to products so you don’t have to. Here’s how they perform.

Tinted moisturizer is all the rage right now and the Rare Beauty tinted moisturizer is stunning. Selena prefers to use her hands to blend it in and says it is meant to feel like you’re applying moisturizer to the skin. The product has great coverage and a radiant finish. It has a hydrating formula that also will protect your skin from the sun. Make sure you apply powder to prevent getting shiny.

Rare Beauty: Liquid Touch Brightening Concealer
If you want something that has coverage and brightens your undereye then you will love this concealer. It has a satin finish and does a great job of covering darkness and redness. It has a hydrating formula that leaves your under eyes looking smooth.

Rare Beauty: Stay Vulnerable Liquid Eyeshadow
These liquid eyeshadows blend like a dream. They have a great colour payoff and are long-lasting. Her character on OMITB Mabel wears the Nearly Neutral shade which is the perfect crease shade to add some dimension to your crease.

Rare Beauty: Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush
These blushes have the most adorable packaging. They have a sheer colour payoff and look extremely natural on the skin. You can build up the colour to your liking which will leave your skin with a beautiful dewy finish. Her character on OMITB Mabel wears the shade Nearly Apricot. It’s a peachy shade that makes you look refreshed.

These bronzer sticks blend into the skin seamlessly. Very minimal blending effort is needed and the super creamy formula warms up the skin just the way you like it.

Rare Beauty: Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight
This liquid luminzer will give you a stunning glow. It has a very buildable formula. You can get a glow from within look or a glazed donut look. Selena’s favourite shade is Mesmerize which is a very pretty rose bronze shade.

Rare Beauty: Soft Pinch Liquid Blush
These blushes went viral on TikTok and we understand why. They are pigmented and long-lasting. A little goes a long way and leaves your skin with a nice dewy finish. In her Vogue Beauty Secrets video, she says her favourite shade is Joy, a gorgeous peach shade.

These have an extremely lightweight formula that feels hydrating on the lips. They feel velvety soft on the lips. In OMITB Mabel wears the colour Brave which is a subtle terracotta shade.

Rare Beauty: Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara
This mascara will give you all the length and mascara your lashes need. It doesn’t transfer or clump. Selena said that she removed her eyelash extensions to make a mascara that would perform the way that she wanted.

Rare Beauty: Perfect Strokes Matte Liquid Liner
If you have difficulty applying your eyeliner or have eyes sensitive eyes then you will like this eyeliner. It has a flexible brush that gives you more control and allows you to be precise as possible. You can draw thin or thick lines without difficulty.

Rare Beauty: Kind Words Matte Lipstick
Rare Beauty recently released lip liners and lipsticks that leave your lips looking smoother and fuller. The formula is super creamy and pigmented. All ten lipsticks come with a matching lip liner. In a TikTok video Selena says that one of her favourite shades is Gifted which is a deep dusty plum.

Rare Beauty: Blot and Glow Touch Up Kit
In a recent TikTok Selena said that she thinks that her blot and glow touch-up kit is very underrated. It’s a refillable kit that includes a powder-infused puff and some blotting paper. You must tap the puff against your hand to get the product out. It also comes with a mirror inside so you can see exactly where you are getting oily.

This setting spray is so refreshing and has such a pleasant scent. It does a great job of melting the powders on your face and giving you a nice glow.
