Yes, we realize the word: facial is written on Thayer’s Facial Toner in “Rose Petal’s” label. It’s meant to be used on our face and so, we do. But we’ve also been applying it to our neck and decolletage and boy do we see the added benefits.
For one, the toner includes witch hazel (and along with “Rose Petal” comes in two additional options: “Unscented” and “Cucumber”), which has been used for decades as a topical natural remedy. Made from the plant’s leaves, twigs and bark, witch hazel acts as an astringent cleansing our skin to remove makeup, dirt, grime, oil and any other residue we don’t want on our face and body. It’s gentle too and soothes our skin, and thanks to its infusion of rose petal water is also hydrating and glow-inducing. All combined, with nary a drop of alcohol and a healthy helping of calming aloe vera, this do-good product leaves our skin feeling and looking refreshed.
It’s easy to incorporate into our daily regime too.
