We’d heard about the greatness of Merit’s beauty products. How transformative the products and colours are, their easy-to-use recyclable packaging, their vegan formulas. So why it has taken us sooo long to jump in is a head scratcher. But all that has changed. We’ve recently added the minimalist brand’s Flush Balm Cheek Color in “Stockholm’s” baby pink hue to our cheekbones and we can’t stop talking about it.
Crafted with skin smoothing and conditioning vitamin E, the balm’s lightweight formula is loaded with microfine pigment powders that provide a hint of a hue without hiding our skin’s natural texture. It’s buildable too, so we can add as much as we like without having a cakey layer or thick looking blush on our face. It’s non-comedogenic as well, so we don’t have to worry about using it and then waking up and seeing spots the next day.
Plus, there are a ton of great shades to choose from. We’re currently using “Stockholm” on repeat right now, but “Lusitano’s” peach pink has made an appearance on our cheeks and we’ve got “Beverly Hill’s” soft peach, “Cheeky’s” cool pink and “Archival’s” taupe rose waiting in the wings. And when we need more, there are seven more extra balms to choose from—one for every fair to rich skin tone to be exact.
Merit Flush Balm Cheek Color in “Stockholm” and 11 additional colours, $41 each, available at Sephora.
