Product Of The Week: Kérastase Gloss Absolu Hydra-Glaze Shampoo and Insta Glaze Conditioner

After a summer of salty, beachy, untamed waves and curls, high-shine hair is having a major moment. So we’ve been reaching for Kérastase’s new Gloss Absolu Hydra-Glaze Shampoo and Insta Glaze Conditioner to get us there.

Inspired by skincare, this innovative duo takes the concept of “glass skin” and translates it into “glass hair”—sleek, smooth and ultra-reflective.

The shampoo is step one. It lathers gently to sweep away impurities and build-up, while smoothing the cuticle with an acidic treatment that leaves our strands feeling fresh and silky and looking radiant. It’s a reset button for sure, the perfect base for the high-gloss finish to come. Next is the conditioner, which richly hydrates and polishes each strand without weighting them down. It smooths frizz, locks in softness and boosts natural shine, leaving us with swishy, glossy and healthy effortless style.

The magic lies in the French brand’s hydra-glazing technology. Similar to our favourite skincare, hydrating ingredient hyaluronic acid draws in moisture to plump and moisturize, while glycolic acid provides a gentle exfoliation of the hair’s surface, creating that smooth, light-reflecting finish. Wild rose oil, rich in fatty acids, nourishes and conditions while leaving behind a delicate floral scent that feels indulgent yet not overwhelming.

The result is quick and transformative too: four days of frizz-free hair, twice the shine and a silky, weightless finish. Almost as if we’d just walked out of the salon.

Kérastase Gloss Absolu Hydra-Glaze Shampoo and Insta Glaze Conditioner, $60 to $65 for 250 ml each, both available at Sephora.
