Who’s waiting (not patiently) for season 4 of Emily in Paris? We are and even though we know it’s scheduled to premiere on Netflix this summer, it still feels like it’s ages away. We need our chic French fix tout suite!
In attempt to assuage our tetchiness (we wanted to write another word here. You know, the one that rhymes with itchiness. But it didn’t feel very sophisticated and we’re trying to channel our inner French girl), we’re smoothing on and rinsing off Clarins Precious La Mousse Douce Nettoyante. It’s working too. Between the skincare product’s fancy name (that translates to: Precious Gentle Foam Cleanser), its petit applicator brush and how fabulous our skin looks after we use it, we’re leaning into a more c’est la vie vibe. Plus, Precious’s effects are pretty fantastique.
The cleanser’s mousse texture is soft and gentle to the touch yet very effective, especially when we apply it with the brush. The small brush’s super soft bristles enable us to spread a generous layer of the foam across our face, from our forehead to our chin, and support the formula’s infusion of soapwort and prickly pear extracts to remove dirt, oil, impurities and makeup. Precious’ infusion of camellia oil and raspberry water extracts work to help hydrate. Leaf of life extract boosts our skin’s natural synthesis of hyaluronic acid, preserving hydration extracts and, last but certainly not least, rare moonlight flower’s anti-aging properties leave our skin radiant and glowing. And that is something we can say “oui” to every day. Especially on the days we’re counting down our small screen reunion with our favourite Parisian fille.
Clarins Precious La Mousse Douce Nettoyante $130 for 125ml, available at Holt Renfrew and online at www.clarins.ca.
