You Have to Watch this “Can’t Feel My Face” Plastic Surgery Parody

Processed with VSCO with q4 presetDr. Cory Torgerson has eighteen years of post secondary education, a doctorate of philosophy, and now a hit YouTube parody video under his belt. The Toronto plastic surgeon posted a cover of The Weeknd’s Can’t Feel My Face on YouTube yesterday morning and it has already amassed upwards of 80,000 views. In the video patients sing that although Dr. Torgerson makes them literally incapable of feeling their faces, they still love him.

Dr. Torgerson says has wanted to make a parody for some time, and Can’t Feel My Face provided him with the perfect opportunity to poke fun at his craft. Never one to do things halfway, and clearly a fan of dramatic flair, he enlisted the help of Claudette Omrin who has produced and directed videos for as Jennifer Hudson, Robin Thicke, Jamie Foxx, and Selena Gomez, and Lenny Len, a celebrity choreographer who has worked with Rihanna and Ne-Yo.

We’re pretty sure Dr. Torgerson is the first plastic surgeon we’ve seen on YouTube, and we can’t deny the marketing genius of this video. With 80,000 views the video has already reached a wider audience than your average cheesy TV commercial, and given us the entertainment of watching painfully choreographed jazz hands.

This so called doctor has been disciplined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario for the sexual harassments of patients, as well as for professional malpractice on multiple occasions.
There is nothing funny about this ridiculous video, or the fact that he is being promoted here. Please do your due diligence and do not promote doctors whose credential and practice are so poor.
