Alright, we admit it: other than to a wedding or to the horse track, you probably won’t find cause to match a red hat to your two piece red suit (but one can dream). However, it’s Kate’s silhouette to keep in mind: balancing the A-line skirt is her peplum-inspired jacket, while the gold brooch and patterned clutch prevent her from looking monochromatic. As for the hat? Easter’s only in a little over a year, so let’s commit this memory for spring 2013.
