2. Afternoon casual
It’s easy to think that not everyone can wear a denim mini skirt, but Katie proves that you can dress it down to make it more wearable. (Yay!) However, unlike our Laguna Beach-inspired days, she pairs it with suede ankle boots and a silk button-up to make it more adult, and also to take the focus away from its above-the-knee qualities. If you want to do the same, you can substitute the boots for a pair of flats, but stay away from heels since otherwise you’ll look more club-ready than out-for-errands-esque.
