Editor’s Style Picks: Let’s Get Practical!

I went almost ten years without ever slipping on a pair of running shoes. It wasn’t until I passed the 27 year mark that I started to feel my metabolism slow and began hitting the gym more and more. Now, in a day I’ll be running to the gym, rushing to work, and jetting to a date night with the boy. It is a must that I find clothing that can take me anywhere that is both practical and stylish! Thus, here are my picks for the best (and most comfortable) on-the-go gear:

Bench Hoodie (in coral), $89

If you’re going to rock a hoodie choose one with a pop of colour like this coral sweatshirt from Bench. I love this top because the fabric is thinner than most sweatshirts and the fit is snug so that it is flattering and doesn’t have a bulky look. I wore it recently for a day of shopping and yummy eats with my girlfriend and never once did I feel under-dressed or sloppy!

Reebok Women’s Skyscape Runaround 2.0, $85

Rebook’s Skyscapes are THE MOST COMFORTABLE shoes I’ve ever worn. Especially after a night out dancing in my heels, these are my go-to kicks for running around the city. The sleek design makes them perfect to wear with both work clothes and your sweats.

Express Core Alligator Side Stripe Leggings, $69.90

These leggings can easily be worn with a loose fitting top to work and then to exercise with a t-shirt or tank. The alligator stripe adds just enough style to make them both practical and chic! I wear them when I want to quickly go from the office to the gym.

There you have it! Three new items I love (and truly can’t live without) that you should consider adding to your wardrobe!
