Selena Gomez is the New Face of Coach

Well it is a good year for Selena Gomez, I’ll tell you that much for free: the singer has just signed a $10 million with Coach to be the face of their brand.

As reported by PageSix on Sunday (where were we, I don’t know) (JK it was Sunday and I was for sure watching Netflix in bed), Gomez is also going to design her own line, which I will probably buy because I have absolutely no self control.

Which Selena has lots of, TBH. (Segway!) In an interview with Thrive Global, the singer talked about her 90 days off “rejuvenating,” which like, of course.

“During that time I did not have my cellphone,” she said. “It was the most refreshing, calming, rejuvenating feeling. Now I rarely pick up the phone, and only limited people have access to me.”

So there is that. Now, as far as when we’ll see Gomez’s first campaign photos or what her line will be and what it will contain is still a mystery. But it’s interesting that she follows in the footsteps of Chloe Grace Moretz, another teen who reflects the brand’s evolution into a more modern fashion/accessories entity. Mainly, we’ve come a long way from those cloth bags everybody had back in 2005. Unless that’s what Selena ends up re-designing. Then in that case, we regroup and meet back here to discuss accordingly.
