Iris Law Lands Burberry Beauty Campaign

I know all of us are obsessed with tweeting about The Young Pope (confession: I still haven’t seen it but I almost don’t want to because all I care about are the tweets about it), but Jude Law’s daughter — Iris Law — has just landed a Burberry Beauty campaign so take that, HBO.

16-year-old Iris is Jude Law and Sadie Frost’s oldest daughter, and her campaign was launched today. Even more exciting is that it’s the brand’s first campaign for Liquid Lip Velvet, a liquid matte lipstick range, and an extension of Lip Velvet, a velvet finish lipstick packaged in a traditional bullet. Hashtag-can-you-even-handle-it.

“I love that Burberry supports young British talent and it is great to be able to be yourself, but I also enjoyed the transformation and the whole creative process too,” Law said in a statement. “Burberry is such an iconic brand and it’s an honour to be a part of the Burberry family and to be starring in a global campaign for them.”

For campaign images, Wendy Rowe — makeup artist and beauty consultant for Burberry — used Military Red No. 41 and Oxblood No. 53 and contoured her face with Face Contour pen in Medium. Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s chief creative and chief executive office described Law as having “infectious creative energy” and an “authentic British attitude,” which is why she was recruited to front for the brand.

Which is saying something, considering Iris now joins the ranks of Burberry Beauty alum Amber Anderson, Edie Campbell, Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn, Lily Donaldson, and Rosie Huntington Whiteley.

So step aside Jude Law, there is a new Young Pope in town.
