Zac Posen to Join ‘Project Runway’

Are you a “Project Runway” fan? (Who isn’t!) Well here’s an exciting development: Zac Posen is tapped to replace Michael Kors as a judge on the show’s 11th season.

Confirming the news via Twitter, Zac said that he’s “so excited to be the new judge on ‘Project Runway'” and will be joining “Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, and Tim Gunn.”

But if you’ve taken to Michael Kors, fret not: the designer will be returning to the finale for a guest spot, according to Lifetime TV. He left due to scheduling issues, and there’s no beef between he and the franchise, so the split and replacement are drama, gossip, and headache-free.

Understandably, Zac Posen is aware of just how big of shoes he has to fill. “This was an amazing opportunity,” he said. “I hope I’m here to give a new perspective to designers.”

We’re sure he will! And luckily, we don’t have to wait very long. The season begins on January 24 on Lifetime, so set your PVRs to “let’s do this.”
