You Can Dress Like Kate Middleton!

Hold onto your hats (and maybe wallets if you don't have a ton of control): as of August 8, Banana Republic will be launching their collaboration with designer Issa London — who you may know best as the creator of Kate Middleton's engagement dress.

Seen on everyone from Pippa Middleton to Naomi Watts, London's styles seem a natural fit for the clean, crisp Banana Republic brand which has welcomed the designer for a limited pre-Fall 2013 collection. Inspired by the safari roots of the company, dresses with prints and bright colours will ring in London's first venture into global retail, which should be more than successful since she's renowned for flattering silhouettes, draping, and that inherent "feminine" style exemplified perfectly through the Duchess of Cambridge's engagement ensemble. (And you can actually pick up a version of the dress for $160, too.)

Consisting of 40 pieces, the collection will also see leopard and zebra prints that have been infused with jewel tones, as well as kimono sleeves, pebbled clutches, and statement jewellery. Items range from $50 (bangle) to $185 (tote), or $85 (sweater) to $160 (dress).

"We were immediately inspired by Banana Republic's heritage of safari adventures when we dreamt up this collection together," said Banana Republic Creative Director and Executive Vice President of Design, Simon Kneen. "Issa London's effortlessly chic style complements our global Banana Republic consumer who is on the go and needs to transition her look seamlessly from day to night."

And of course, the collaboration works even better for anyone hoping to channel Kate Middleton or Naomi Watts. (And who isn't?)
