The Twi-Hards are at it again and with the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse right around the corner, fans have decided to camp outside the Nokia Plaza in LA hoping to get a glimpse of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as they walk the red carpet for the premiere.
As of Monday night, there were at least 600 fans camping out and taking over the streets of downtown LA, planning to wait 3 days! Apparently, the devoted fans will get a special treat from Summit Entertainment, with surprise cast appearances and live streaming performances from the Eclipse soundtrack.
While R-Patz and Lautner are good looking guys, I’m not sure that there is any part of me that would be willing to camp outside in downtown LA, in hopes of seeing them walk the red carpet. It seems to me that we might just have some crazies on our hands.
Apparently, the fans are getting a bit in the way, so security will be relocating them today, and handing out wristbands to keep the chaos a bit more organized. The crowd still has another day to go, with the premiere scheduled for Thursday night.
Even though I think this group of Twi-Hards might be a bit on the nutzo side, I’ve got to hand it to them. To camp out in the streets, with other crazies on hand, for 3 days! All amongst people who, by now, probably could use a nice long shower. The smell alone would send me home!
