Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is many things; a star on MTV’s hit reality show, The Jersey Shore; a party girl looking to settle down with that perfect guido; and a lover of pickles. But, a woman of many words she is not.
Well, Snooki is looking to prove us all wrong with her next venture – a novel titled A Shore Thing. Yes, that’s right, Snooki is going to be writing a novel; the same Snooki who has admitted to only having read two books – Twilight by Stephenie Meyers and Dear John by Nicholas Sparks.
The story revolve[s] around a girl looking for love on the boardwalk (one full of big hair, dark tans, and fights galore), read a statement from publishing house Simon and Schuster.
I’m pumped to announce to my fans a project that I’ve been working on for some time, Snooks added. This book will have you falling in love at the shore. It’s ˜A Shore Thing!’
Considering that Snooki’s “word of the day” consists of words like ‘sympathy,’ I’m going to go ahead and say that there is probably a ghostwriter involved. If not, then this novel is going to a slew of words like “smush,” “grenades” and “wah (Snooki’s signature word, much like Homer Simpson’s “d’oh”).
The saddest part of this entire thing? I’m probably going to read it (she said, as she hid her face in shame).
