Rachel Zoe Teams Up Fashion App COVET

Fashion? There's an app for that (obviously, since we're living in the year, 2013). And as of July, we can add the COVET Fashion app to the mix; a tablet app that will allow women to layer pieces together on a virtual mannequin, to create unique head-to-toe looks.

Designer labels will make up the options, with thousands of pieces available for endless style combinations. What's more exciting is COVET's first celebrity alignment: Rachel Zoe will be the first Style Ambassador to collaborate with the app, and will offer her expert fashion advice.

"COVET Fashion is a personalized styling experience that allows you to pick pieces from the best virtual closet," said Zoe. "I think it has the potential to change the way people discover and interact with fashion."

In addition to answering user questions, offering expert advice, and assisting with styling, Zoe and future contributors will also help curate events and style challenges. Zoe will personally judge the first challenge, as well as write style tips, and launch "The Zoe Report" — a round-up the latest trends. (Nobody can accuse her of not being busy.)

"We take it one step further, so rather than just deciding what individual pieces they like, users can discover how those pieces can be worn in the app or incorporate them into their real life wardrobe," said CEO of Crowdstar (COVET's parent company), Jeffrey Tseng. "It's like having an infinite closet of high contemporary fashion at your fingertips. That's what makes this a truly engrossing shopping experience."

The COVET Fashion app will launch in early July, and will be available on Apple's iPad, iPhone, and iPods. Let's do this!
