Find your way to fit at FitOrbit without even leaving home!

I’ve never cared much for the gym. The last session I attended resulted in my dismounting the elliptical machine, wobbly-legged, and planting my butt firmly on the floor in protest”

The gym, it turns out, isn’t for everyone. I’ve made my peace with the elliptical since then, but I’m still not a gym fan. I’ve often fantasized about having a kick-butt, Zac Efron-esque personal trainer as an incentive to go, but reality bites.

While researching something for work I came across FitOrbit, an affordable way to select a personal trainer online and receive instruction via internet. Now this is more my gym bag. You fill in a personal fitness profile where you state your goals “ e.g. overall fitness, bulking up, post-partum fitness, post-New Years fitness (gulp). You’re matched with suitable trainers based on experience, area of expertise & personality, so you can choose the right fit. Then get started with a customized workout plan to suit your ability, preferences and schedule!

Normally exercising at home can be a double-edged sword. With so many distractions finding the will-power to do 60 minutes of dance cardio can be tough, but that’s where your trainer comes in. You can communicate with your trainer as often as you like through the web or phone app to stay motivated! It’s mega affordable too with plans starting at just $9.99/week.

Start the New Year with a new you with help from FitOrbit “ you’ll thank yourself.

Until the next whisper¦

Wow, this seems like the most realistic workout plan I’ve heard yet! I also hate the gym – the mirrors, the questionable-looking machines that I have NO idea how to use, and the gorgeous women that look flawless in tiny spandex getups that make me feel like a frump in my huge t-shirt and jogging pants full of holes! Thanks, Jemima 🙂 This gives us gym-haters new hope and motivation.
