Cara Delevingne Is An Author Now

Well here’s a thing we can officially add to our list (of things): Cara Delevingne has written her first novel, and you’re going to be able to buy it soon.

According to her Instagram post, it’s called Mirror, Mirror, and well, there’s more (clearly).

“Another pinch me moment!” she captioned. “Announcing my first novel, Mirror, Mirror, coming out this October! So excited.”

Mirror, Mirror is a twisty coming-of-age story about 16-year-old friends Red, Leo, Naima and Rose who are all trying to figure out who they are and navigate the minefield of school and relationships,” she continued. “Until it all changes one day (que scary music). I love these characters so much, I love what they stand for, what this story represents. The process of putting this novel together has been life changing and something I hold really close to my heart!! I cannot wait to share with everyone!”

You can preorder Mirror, Mirror by heading to this link, and you can psych yourself up for the Delevingne-recommended book club.

“I want us to talk about this time in life, self discovery, friendship, pain, triumph!! Being a teenager! The experiences that shape YOU!” she added.

October 5 is the day you can expect to see the book hit shelves, and Amazon has actually shared a little more than the author herself. Says the blurb:

“Life isn’t perfect, but they’re united by their love of music and excited about the future holds for their band. That is until Nana dies in tragic circumstances, leaving behind only one word, ‘Sorry.’ What awful truth was she hiding? What dark secret was lurking behind her seemingly sunny persona? And how did Red, the self-styled protector of the group, fail to spot the warning signs?”

So yes, okay, fine, I will absolutely read this. (And that’s what you all care about the most, right?)
