Yes, You Can Finally Look Like Victoria Beckham

Alright, everybody let’s start this Monday morning off right: ICYMI, it was announced that Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham will be partnering with Estee Lauder on a limited-edition makeup collection.

Can you even handle it?

(Yes!)

According to the press release I am currently looking at, the collection will be called Victoria Beckham Estee Lauder and will launch in September at select retailers, on EsteeLauder.com, and VictoriaBeckham.com, bless us everyone.

“We are excited to join forces and bring Victoria’s take on beauty to her many fans around the world,” said Jane Hertzmark, Group President, The Estee Lauder Companies. “Victoria is an entrepreneur in the true spirit of our founder, Estee Lauder, with a real understanding of what women want, and a commitment to making women look and feel their most beautiful. Victoria has a passion for beauty and we are delighted to welcome her into our brand.”

As for what Posh had to say? (She will always be Posh to me, don’t you dare try and argue otherwise, you monsters.)

“I am thrilled to be launching this limited-edition makeup collection with Estee Lauder,” she added. “The whole process has been both inspiring and eye opening — from going back and revisiting the Estee Lauder archives through to working on the product with the Estee team, this feels like the perfect makeup partnership for me and my brand.”

“I had long admired Estee Lauder the woman, and the powerful brand that she created, so I am excited to offer both of our customers this makeup range and play a small part in her vision for women.”

As for what the collection entails? I don’t know. No one knows (except everybody at Estee Lauder and Victoria Beckham). In my head, it’s the exact palette she wore in Spice World because that was Peak Nineties, and I wasn’t old enough to wear eyeliner in 1998, and everything always is about me. But in reality, it will probably be makeup that looks like what Victoria Beckham usually wears, which is fine too.

Do you guys like my very professional hypotheses about what this makeup collection will look like? Do you think Victoria Beckham does? Do you think she’s reading this right now? Do you think if she is, she’ll tell me what lip colour she was wearing in Spice World? Should I stop asking questions and get back to work?

Fine, but like . . . you know you were asking them too.
