Gwen Stefani is Revlon’s Newest Brand Ambassador

We’re only three days into 2017 and both Revlon and Gwen Stefani are already having a big year. Yesterday, the drugstore brand broke the news that singer and former Voice host (and arguably one the best Carpool Karaoke episodes to date) is the newest brand ambassador, following fellow songstress Ciara, who was announced last fall.

No stranger to the beauty industry, Stefani has teamed up with the likes of OPI, Urban Decay and L’Oreal Paris, as well as having her own line of fragrances. Of course, her inspiration doesn’t stop there. She’s always been a purveyor of the best statement red lip and cat eye ever (don’t argue with me on that) and, since Revlon is all about the love and the signature crimson hue, Stefani seems like the perfect fit for the brand.

“Ever since I was a young girl, I have used makeup as a form of self-expression,” said Stefani in a statement. “I am passionate about makeup and how it can showcase your individuality and creativity.”

And since the brand is all about its “choose love” M.O., having a performer like Stefani, who has let her newest love (Blake Shelton, if you need a refresher) be the source of inspiration for her latest album, we can only imagine there are lots of mushy feelings flowing. Which, tbh, we’re going to need in mass quantities to get us through this year.

Stefani, alongside Ciara, will front campaigns across all of Revlon’s platform this year, while representing some product launches that we can’t wait to see.
